Re-engaging customers with Better Family Life, Inc.

As a multi-million dollar nonprofit making waves in social, cultural, and economic empowerment, Better Family Life, Inc. impacts thousands of lives annually, and I was thrilled to join forces with them for their 38th annual BLACK DANCE - USA festival.
In this collaboration, I brought my expertise in customer engagement to shape the conference's full-scale marketing strategy. Over the course of four weeks, my team and I implemented a comprehensive plan that included leveraging email data from previous conferences to reach out to prior attendees and re-engage their interest in dance through an email campaign. The campaign moved beyond event announcements to re-connecting with dancers on a personal level, inquiring about the dance styles they love the most and sharing nostalgic footage from previous conferences to spark a heartfelt interest. The marketing also spanned print, online, and social platforms to build buzz and spark a conversation about the healing power of dance, festival camaraderie and community.
The result? A rush of coverage and high engagement across social media, web, email, and press, culminating in outstanding conference attendance and sold-out tickets for the grand finale concert.
